For paper submission, the research article must be an original copy, about 2,000-7,000 words, single-spaced, and with tables and figures.
Generally the arrangement of the papers should follow these major headings as explain below: Title, Author/s and Affiliations/address, Abstract, Introduction, Ethical approval (for research with human beings), Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Limitation, Conclusions Implications, and Recommendations (optional), Acknowledgements and references.
Type the entire manuscript using single line spacing and Times New Roman font type of 12 size. Set the page in A4 paper size and normal margins.
The title of the study should be concise and captivating enough to attract viewers.

An abstract of about 120 -180 words should be presented immediately preceding the text. The abstract should concisely inform the reader of the manuscript’s topic, objectives, methods, findings and conclusion.
The abstract must be followed by at least three keywords to assist in indexing the paper and identifying qualified reviewers.
Under this subheading, the authors should give detail background to the article and the background reveal paper’s rationale, motivation, significance, scope and relationship with the previous knowledge as well as new knowledge to be created in setting up the study. Finally, the objective of the study should be stated. Both the Abstract and Introduction should be relatively nontechnical yet clear enough for an informed reader to understand the manuscript’s contribution.
Authors should provide information regarding ethical approval of the study, basically from the relevant ethical committee on research.
Authors are expected to provide statement of authorship and conflict of interest in the manuscript.
The authors are to describe the methods followed in terms of design, population, sample, area of study, procedure and method of data analysis.
The results of data analysis must be presented in tables and (or) figure and must be adequately and correctly interpreted. The results must also be discussed adequately and appropriately.
Authors should try and avoid many limitations in a research but the unavoidable ones must be reported in the paper.
A concise but logical conclusion is required based on the findings of a study.
Based on the conclusion reached, it would be important for implications to be drawn.
Recommendations based on their findings should provide crisply if any.
JCTS maintains thorough peer review process and each article is subjected to a minimum of two reviews by two individual reviewers. If their decision varies the article will be sent to a third reviewer and the editor's decision is final. Reviewers will be insisted to review the paper within 12 days time and if he/she fail to return will be sent to other reviewer for review.
Use end-notes rather than footnotes. Spell out acronyms or unfamiliar abbreviations when these are mentioned for the first time in the text. Write the scientific names of species completely with author(s) when it is first mentioned in the text and without author in succeeding references. Scientific names should be written in italics. Do not spell out numbers unless they are used to start a sentence.
Use the metric system only or the International System of Units. Use abbreviations of units only beside numerals (e.g. 9c m); otherwise spell out the unit (e.g. Centimeter from here). Use bar for compound units (e.g. 1 kg/yr). Place a zero before the decimal in numbers less than one (e.g. 0.69). Do not use plural forms or periods for abbreviations of units.
Submit only one main document (including all tables, figures and appendices) in WORD format (.doc) extension.
NOTE: We do not accept PDF files. Please note, manuscripts that do not follow these requirements or that are otherwise deemed unsuitable for publication will be returned to the author(s) without review.
